About Boat Night

Boat Night, or Boat Week are the days leading up to the annual sailboat race from Port Huron to Mackinac Island. Port Huron throws the Biggest Floating Cocktail party in celebration!

“Family Night”

Family Night takes place 2 nights before the race and is meant to be “Family Friendly”. There will be Inflatable attractions, carnival rides, and live music.

But don’t let the name fool you, the night is as much of a party for adults as it is for the kids. Before too late,  the kids clear out and partiers take over!

Where the party is really at.

Boats parade up and down the Black River

People pack the sidewalk from the Yacht Club, West to the 10th Street Bridge. Live Music, beer, people dancing on the bows of their cruisers. Music blasts from every direction. Mardi Gras beads are tossed from ship to ship. You never know what you might see along the waterside on boat night.

Alcohol is now allowed on the boardwalk so take advantage of it!  But do drink responsibly!
